'7aum Arivu' an upcoming science fiction thriller directed by A.R.murugadoss starring Surya in double roles and Shruthi Hasaan debut flick in Kollywood is all set to grace screens for this Diwali.
'7aum Arivu' is produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin is made with a whopping budget of Rs.84 crores and the film grace the theatres on 26th October 2011

It was earlier reported that Surya will appear in three roles as Circust artist, Buddhist monk and scientist, while it was clarified later that the role of scientist will be performed by a female lead. Vietnamese actor Johnny Tri Nguyen was signed to play the antagonist and Kannada actor Avinash was chosen for the role of Surya`s father.

7aam Arivu Plot:
7aum Arivua is about the story of a circus people which is a rare occurence in the Tamil movies. Surya plays the role of a handicapped circust artiste who will be performing circus stunts.
He is also said to be playing the role of a buddhist monk and nadodigal fame Abinaya is said to be playing an important role in the flashback while Shruthi plays the role of a scientist in the movie.
7aam Arivu is based on the theme of time travelling a 'Time Machine' invented by Shruthi which tells the hidden facts of the Tamil culture and ancient connection with Chinese tradition.
